It was Spring of 2009 when my wife and I walked into a developer’s sales office and put ourselves in the hands of Shaunda Holt. Our brand new house is 12 years old now. A lot has happened since then, grandbabies were born, retirement, and kids left home, but we have maintained a casual relationship with Shaunda through her charitable drives and the annual neighborhood garage sale she sponsors. So when the fourteen steps leading to the second floor gave us fourteen reasons to move to a single story home, our first thought was Shaunda to list our house. Shaunda guided us each step of the way from cleaning, staging, photographing, and showing. We accepted an offer over asking on the second day on the market.
Shaunda, while preparing our home for sale, began the search for our new home. One of her best skills is being able to read people very well, and she listens. If she is your agent when buying a home she will find a home that will work for you, and she’ll guide you away from homes that don’t work. We’re very happy with our new one-story in our preferred location. Shaunda managed the timing of the closings so that they were one day apart.
